ITINERARY

Day 1: HANOI – HAI PHONG - LAN HA BAY

09h10: Our transfer service will pick you up from hotels around Hanoi Old Quarter. Then we will shortly arrive at Got Ferry Terminal – Cat Hai Town, Haiphong City by expressway after 2,5 hours. On the way, you could see one of the longest and newest bridges in South-East Asia which holds the third rank among the seven most cable-stayed bridges in the world. You relax for a while with special tea at Orchid Cruises’ lounge.

12h15: When you reach Got Ferry Terminal at 11h30, our tender will bring you to Orchid Cruise.

12h30: After you embark on the cruise, our staff serve you a welcome drink to refresh yourself. Then our cruise manager starts cruise briefing and safety guidance before you check in your cabin.

13h00: After that, you enjoy sumptuous international buffet lunch in our elegant restaurant while the vessel goes among thousands of stunning islets, that make Halong becomes a fairyland. Orchid Cruise sails to Lan Ha Bay, passing Da Chong islet where you will have a chance to watch an ancient lighthouse built by the French over a century ago, an icon of history. What our cruise makes your trip different is the route that you are on: Cat Ba Island - Thoi Quyt area - Coc Ngoi islet -Gia Luan area located in Cat Ba National Park.

14h15: We proceed to the Gia Luan area and then commute by ORCHID bus on Cat Ba island to Trung Trang cave, the heart of Cat Ba National Park. Trung Trang Valley is surrounded by Kim Giao forest in the heart of Cat Ba National Park and includes a vast area of up to 300 hectares. The cave with spectacular stalactites and stalagmites crafted skillfully by Mother of Nature will definitely make you feel surprised and satisfy your imagination.

17h00: You will also have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Tra Bau in Lan Ha Bay for swimming. This area is especially well known for its fresh air, emerald water, and white sand bringing a wonderful ambiance for travelers to unwind. 

17h45: While the light of the sun decreases gradually, hundreds of islets and limestone caves of different sizes definitely astonish you with their natural beauty. It is best to capture the unparalleled sunset of Halong in slow motion. Then you attend a traditional cooking class to learn about some Vietnamese dishes. Happy Hour program will start in the early evening.

21h30: Then, you can take a rest in your cabin after a long day of fascinating activities, enjoy the romantic atmosphere of the bay at night under thousands of sparkling stars or if you are interested in socializing, have a drink at the bar, try squid fishing, or watch a movie in the restaurant.

23h00: You sleep on the boat.

Day 2: LAN HA BAY – HANOI

06h15: Early risers can contemplate the magnificent backgrounds of Halong Bay in the early morning and participate in the Tai Chi session on the sundeck which helps you invigorate your mind and body. After savoring in delicious breakfast, tourists will be transferred to explore Frog lake.  

7h45: A thrilling activity is chosen by a lot of tourists when they land in Halong is to do kayaking. You are free to explore the wild and mysterious charm of Lan Ha Bay.

9h30: Tourists will return to the cruise for a check-out schedule.

10h00: You have an enchanting brunch while the cruise is approaching the mainland.

10h30: We hold a Tea Ceremony to refresh our tourists. In the meantime, we give you some interesting information about Vietnamese tea and Vietnamese culture. 11h35: You reach the quayside in the south of the bay and get off the cruise.
