Our itinerary was created to bring the best of Halong Bay in terms of nature and culture to you with the exploration of various locations like Ba Trai Dao Beach, Viet Hai Village, or Floating Houses. We also want you to have a deeper understanding of the culture of Vietnam through the onboard cooking and tea class. ITINERARY

DAY 1: HANOI - HALONG - LAN HA BAY (LUNCH - DINNER)

9.00 – 9.15 approx: Genesis Tour Guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. You are on the expressway 5B to Halong Bay by ultra-luxurious limousine (for the guests to use transfer service).

11.45 – 12.00: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina, you will get a speed boat transferring to Genesis Regal Cruise. The cruise team will welcome you and instruct visitors to register for the trip. Enjoy welcome drinks, then check into your cabin.

12.30 - 17.00: Come to the dining room to enjoy your lunch with buffet-style seafood. From the Regal Cruise, you will see numerous small islands and the sea-green color of the bay.  

The cruise sails through the Cat Ba area to explore Con Vit Islet, Thumb Islet & Gia Luan harbor. When reaching a private and wild lagoon of Lan Ha Bay, the cruise drop anchor for kayaking, swimming, or just sunbathe on the cruise.

After that, you come back to the cruise which will head back to the sleeping area right after that. 

Sunset is coming, you enjoy the party under the sunset with complimentary cocktails demonstration. You can go make new friends or simply watch the glorious sunset or just have a me-time in the swimming pool. 

18.00 approx: Gather in the sundeck to join us for a class cooking. You will learn how to make Vietnamese spring rolls - a typical dish of Vietnam's cuisine.

 

19.00: In the warm and cozy ambiance, you will be served dinner with a fresh food menu & seafood buffet.

After dinner, it's time for you to free relax and join activities such as: playing chess, fishing liquid, learning about tea culture, or just enjoying the starlight of the night sky in the bay on the sundeck. In a quiet space, you will have a sleep on board.

DAY 2: CYCLING AT VIET HAI VILLAGE - SWIMMING - FREE ACTIVITIES

06.30:  Start your day with a healthy Tai Chi session instructed by professionals. The slow movements of Tai Chi accompanied by the light morning breezes of the sea in the morning will relax your body and your mind to make your morning more refreshing than ever.

07.30: Enjoy the breakfast while admiring the landscape of Halong as the cruise heads to our next location: Cat Ba Island - Lan Ha Bay.

11.30: Enjoy your lunch on board before getting on the speedboat for a unique exploring trip. 

13.15: Get on the speedboat and head to Viet Hai Village. 

Upon arriving at Viet Hai, you will provide a bicycle to travel around the village. You will ride along the roads of the small but lovely village and go through the rainforests. You can explore the village by taking a stroll around the place, meeting the locals, observing their daily routine, and visiting the school.

15.00: Say goodbye to the villagers, you will be taken to Lan Ha Bay to visit the Ba Trai Dao Beach, passing through the fish farm at the typical Lan Ha Bay floating village.

The Ba Trai Dao Beach is famous for its peaceful and unspoiled beauty, it is the perfect landscape for magnificent photos to put into your travel album. You can swim in the ocean or sunbathe on the beach. 

Return to the Regal Cruise and relax with massage services while the Genesis Regal Cruise moves to the overnight anchor point.

19.00: Dinner is served. After the meal, you can enjoy your own time sitting on the balcony with a glass of cocktail in your hand while seeing Halong bay at night. The scene is so marvelous and peaceful that you will feel like all your worryings have vanished, only enjoyment stays in your mind.

You can spend the evening relaxing in your cabin or join in exciting activities like squid fishing, watching movies, etc. You can also enjoy a hot foot bath with lemongrass and salt (optional).

Overnight on board. 

DAY 3: HALONG BAY - HANOI (BREAKFAST AND LUNCH)

06.30: Start your day with Tai Chi practice on the sundeck. You also can catch the sunrise view of the bay.

7.00 - 07.45: A nutritious breakfast will help you be full of energy for discovering the bay.

08.00 approx: Mingling yourself in the stunning views of the bay as the cruise takes its sails to Dark & Bright Cave. You can enjoy exploring the cave by kayaking or getting on a local boat rowed by the locals. Just take your option.

9.30: Return to the boat and check out your room. After that, you can enjoy the scenery of the bay while tasting buffet brunch and cruising back to the harbor.

12.00: Regal cruise arrives at Tuan Chau Marina. Disembark from the cruise. You will take a short rest, and prepare your luggage to come back to Hanoi by limousine (for the guests to use the transfer service).
